Together with the leading coating manufactures of the world Draka Communications has developed unique and patented coating systems like the Dual Layer Primary Coating (DLPC9) and the ColorLock^XS fiber coating system.

On top of that most major product families are available as standard on high temperature resistant coating systems. The standard Graded-Index Multimode Optical Fiber products, the standard Single mode products as well as the BendBright^XS product are available in a 500µm dual layer UV curable Acrylate coated version.
